LUCKY CUISINE - Executive LUNCH SET

We're back at Lucky Cuisine & their lunch sets are so mouth-watering! At only RM11.90, you can select from more than 10 varieties of authentic Sze Chuan meals!

Remember my previous post on the delicious steamboat? Well, get ready for some delicious rice dishes!

(Dam, the menu looks so good to eat!)

Let's start off with my favorite, 

Chong Qing Watery Chicken!

This is one of my favorite dishes here. It's actually served cold (but of course, the chicken is cooked), & it has the perfect balance of sesame oil, fried onions, spiciness, & of course, topped with roasted sesame seed on top! So appetizing, & so yummy!!

Second, let's have a look my next favorite,  Spicy Diced Chicken!

Popcorn chicken to the extreme! Stir-fried with dried chili & aromatic spice, this finger-licking dish will bring your taste buds on fire!

Any tofu-lovers? Try out this Mapo Bean Curd! 

Spicy & tingly, this tofu dish is perfect over a nice bowl of white rice. Imagine a spoonful of delicious minced meat with tofu cubes melting in your mouth, bursting with spicy flavors. Yum~

Of course, there is always a beef dish for those beef-lovers!

Simple yet tasty, sliced beef with mix vegetables is perfect if you want some comfort food, because trust me, this dish feels like a delicious home-cooked meal!

Let's not forget about porky, with a delicious side of spare ribs!

Another finger food which is also quite simple, but hey, close your eyes & eat this slowly. The flavors will come bursting out like you've never tasted pork in your whole life! (Nah, I'm exaggerating, but I'm serious! This is delicious!)

Next up, Diced Chicken with Cashews!

Well honestly, this isn't really my favorite because I prefer foods with a stronger taste. But this dish is quite tasty because of the cashew nuts that enhances this chicken taste, & also peppers that will make it slightly spicy.

Hmm....which to choose?

How about Yuan Bao Meatball rice?

I was kind of surprised when I tried this. It was soft and mushy, so I got confused on what it actually was. But the sauce was so yummy, I wanted to add a second bowl of rice! It's a home-made meatball, where its pre-cooked, then topped off with the sauce. MUST TRY THIS!!

Well, lastly, some fried rice for those indecisive people (like me) who has no idea what to eat, & decide to go with the safest choice on the menu!

Luncheon meat & eggs are the perfect pairing for a plate of fragrant fried rice!

LUCKY CUISINE - STEAMBOAT SZE CHUAN STYLE

You know, I pass by Kota Damansara (Dataran Sunway there) like about twice per week, and I've tried so many different types of food there. Shockingly enough, when I was asked to go to Lucky Cuisine, I had NO IDEA where it was. I was scratching my head, thinking up & down on where it was & what it looked like.  I even googled my way there. But then when I found it......

 I was like OH MY GAWD, I really had no idea..

You might just be one of those who pass by and always wonder what this cuisine offers. 

Well, today is your lucky day!

I will be sharing their steamboat ala-carte menu, which offers a variety of selections, and most importantly. their authentic sze chuan soup base!!

What time is it? TIME TO EAT!

This is their signature soup base, half spicy & half non-spicy. As you can see, the spicy side looks really awesome right? For those spicy-lovers (like myself) YOU WILL LOVE IT.

It's not like spicy til you'll burst into tears. It tingles your tongue and the taste slowly gets stronger as the soup boils with other ingredients.

As for the non-spicy, it's a mixture of herbs, pork bone, chicken, and also other ingredients for a sweet and light taste. 

So, what's on the menu today?

There was a variety of seafood, such as baby abalone, Australian scallop, river prawn, gui fei abalone, sea cucmber, fish maw, and crab sticks!

As for meats (definitely my fav), beef, lamb, pork, & chicken is always on the menu.

BUT! You can't miss this spicy beef slice which is DE-LISH!! It's a mixture of spices and sesame oil, which is so savory, and definitely a MUST-TRY! 

There's also this Hunan Bacon which is a pre-smoked bacon that's sliced perfectly for a light dip in the soup, then straight to your mouth.

What's next? BALLS! Veggie balls. Lobster balls. Salmon fish balls. Prawn balls.Cuttlefish balls. Balls here, balls there. Balls everywhere! 

Let's make room, for mushrooms! Enoki, abalone mushroom, grass mushroom, button mushroom, but wait.who knew bamboo fungus is a mushroom too?

Don't forget about our fiber-filled veggies! We has watercress, spinach, cabbage, bamboo shoots, and lotus!

Trust me, that's just like, a quarter of the whole menu. There's so much more to eat!

With all of that yummyness, we cooled down with this imported buckwheat tea. It's not the typical chinese tea you can find every where, so this is worth a try!

So there's 2 floors to this place, so if you have a big, you can opt to sit upstairs

The team flagged off at Central Market, KL, where we all initially gathered to have a welcoming speech & some instructions on how to play (yes, it was a competition!)

Actually, the competition was very simple, similar to amazing race. We were all give a cue card, then had to figure out the next station. Once reached the next station, we need to complete a task in order to get the next cue card for the next location.

Overall, the objective was simple. We want everyone to know that Nescafe Tarik can be found anywhere & everywhere! 

For example, find a stranger & share the goodness!!

Share with your friends & spread the awesomeness! 

Of course, all the participants and bundles of joy, as they explored the busy streets of KL and enjoyed a tin of creamy and smooth Nescafe Tarik!
