Watsons Malaysia Returns with Largest Zumba Event!

Asia’s leading health and beauty retailer is back with its highly successful and record breaking Move Your Body Zumba event. This annual Zumba event presented by Watsons Malaysia is expected to be the most talked about health and fitness event of the year.

Last year, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba was the largest Zumba event in Malaysia with more than 5,360 participating in the glow in the dark theme Zumba. And the year before that, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba created a new record and still is the largest Zumba gathering with more than 7,000 participants held in Penang. And this time around, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba will bring a new level of fun and exciting experience with the biggest Zumba beach party together with international Zumba presenters and top Malaysian DJs.

The 2017 edition is slated to be held on 21 October 2017 at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach and expecting more participants than last year to sweat it all out with Zumba routines in collaboration with international Zumba organization in the United States, Zumba Fitness.

“For the fourth year running, Watsons Move Your Body Zumba will be an iconic event and as such we want to provide our consumers the reward of money can’t buy experience with international renowned Zumba instructors and top DJ line up to entertain. The run up to this event include a nationwide Zumba class with Zumba Fitness to be held in Penang, Ipoh, Melaka, JB and Klang Valley,” Danny Hoh, Customer Director, Watsons Malaysia.

To further elevate the night with great crowd engagement, Malaysia’s favourite host and performance Dennis Yin will be hosting the event.

Zumba enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting array of routines led by three international Zumba presenters Richard Gormley from Canada, Nana from South Korea and Henry Cendeno from USA.

Continuing the success from last year, Watsons will also include top Malaysian DJs who will be spinning their music after the Zumba session to continue to provide the crowd the excitement and exhilaration.
